وَالسَّمَآءِ وَالطَّارِقِ

Waalssamai waalttariqi

By the sky and the night comer

وَمَآ اَدرَیکَ مَا الطَّارِقُ

Wama adraka ma alttariqu

And what can make you know what is the night comer

النَّجمُ الثَّاقِبُ

Alnnajmu alththaqibu

It is the piercing star

اِن کُلُّ نَفس لَّمَّا عَلَیهَا حَافِظٞ

In kullu nafsin lamma AAalayha hafithun

There is no soul but that it has over it a protector

فَلیَنظُرِ الاِنسَنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ

Falyanthuri alinsanu mimma khuliqa

So let man observe from what he was created

خُلِقَ مِن مَّآء دَافِق

Khuliqa min main dafiqin

He was created from a fluid, ejected

یَخرُجُ مِن بَینِ الصُّلبِ وَالتَّرَآئِبِ

Yakhruju min bayni alssulbi waalttaraibi

Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs

اِنَّهُ عَلَی رَجعِهِ لَقَادِرٞ

Innahu AAala rajAAihi laqadirun

Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able

یَومَ تُبلَی السَّرَآئِرُ

Yawma tubla alssarairu

The Day when secrets will be put on trial

فَمَا لَهُ مِن قُوَّۃ وَلَا نَاصِر

Fama lahu min quwwatin wala nasirin

Then man will have no power or any helper

وَالسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجعِ

Waalssamai thati alrrajAAi

By the sky which returns [rain]

وَالاَرضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدعِ

Waalardi thati alssadAAi

And [by] the earth which cracks open

اِنَّهُ لَقَولٞ فَصلٞ

Innahu laqawlun faslun

Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement

وَمَا هُوَ بِالهَزلِ

Wama huwa bialhazli

And it is not amusement

اِنَّهُم یَکِیدُونَ کَیدا

Innahum yakeedoona kaydan

Indeed, they are planning a plan

وَاَکِیدُ کَیدا

Waakeedu kaydan

But I am planning a plan

فَمَهِّلِ الکَفِرِینَ اَمهِلهُم رُوَیدَا

Famahhili alkafireena amhilhum ruwaydan

So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile
