تِلکَ ءَایَتُ الکِتَبِ الحَکِیمِ

Tilka ayatu alkitabi alhakeemi

These are verses of the wise Book

هُدی وَرَحمَۃ لِّلمُحسِنِینَ

Hudan warahmatan lilmuhsineena

As guidance and mercy for the doers of good

الَّذِینَ یُقِیمُونَ الصَّلَوۃَ وَیُؤتُونَ الزَّکَوۃَ وَهُم بِالآخِرَۃِ هُم یُوقِنُونَ

Allatheena yuqeemoona alssalata wayutoona alzzakata wahum bialakhirati hum yooqinoona

Who establish prayer and give zakah, and they, of the Hereafter, are certain [in faith]

اُوْلَٓئِکَ عَلَی هُدی مِّن رَّبِّهِم وَاُوْلَٓئِکَ هُمُ المُفلِحُونَ

Olaika AAala hudan min rabbihim waolaika humu almuflihoona

Those are on [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن یَشتَرِی لَهوَ الحَدِیثِ لِیُضِلَّ عَن سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ بِغَیرِ عِلم وَیَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا اُوْلَٓئِکَ لَهُم عَذَابٞ مُّهِینٞ

Wamina alnnasi man yashtaree lahwa alhadeethi liyudilla AAan sabeeli Allahi bighayri AAilmin wayattakhithaha huzuwan olaika lahum AAathabun muheenun

And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment

وَاِذَا تُتلَی عَلَیهِ ءَایَتُنَا وَلَّی مُستَکبِرا کَاَن لَّم یَسمَعهَا کَاَنَّ فِیٓ اُذُنَیهِ وَقرا فَبَشِّرهُ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِیمٍ

Waitha tutla AAalayhi ayatuna walla mustakbiran kaan lam yasmaAAha kaanna fee othunayhi waqran fabashshirhu biAAathabin aleemin

And when our verses are recited to him, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard them, as if there was in his ears deafness. So give him tidings of a painful punishment

اِنَّ الَّذِینَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّلِحَتِ لَهُم جَنَّتُ النَّعِیمِ

Inna allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati lahum jannatu alnnaAAeemi

Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them are the Gardens of Pleasure

خَلِدِینَ فِیهَا وَعدَ اللَّهِ حَقّا وَهُوَ العَزِیزُ الحَکِیمُ

Khalideena feeha waAAda Allahi haqqan wahuwa alAAazeezu alhakeemu

Wherein they abide eternally; [it is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise

خَلَقَ السَّمَوَتِ بِغَیرِ عَمَد تَرَونَهَا وَاَلقَی فِی الاَرضِ رَوَسِیَ اَن تَمِیدَ بِکُم وَبَثَّ فِیهَا مِن کُلِّ دَآبَّۃ وَاَنزَلنَا مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآء فَاَنبَتنَا فِیهَا مِن کُلِّ زَوج کَرِیمٍ

Khalaqa alssamawati bighayri AAamadin tarawnaha waalqa fee alardi rawasiya an tameeda bikum wabaththa feeha min kulli dabbatin waanzalna mina alssamai maan faanbatna feeha min kulli zawjin kareemin

He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind

هَذَا خَلقُ اللَّهِ فَاَرُونِی مَاذَا خَلَقَ الَّذِینَ مِن دُونِهِ بَلِ الظَّلِمُونَ فِی ضَلَل مُّبِین

Hatha khalqu Allahi faaroonee matha khalaqa allatheena min doonihi bali alththalimoona fee dalalin mubeenin

This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error

وَلَقَد ءَاتَینَا لُقمَنَ الحِکمَۃَ اَنِ اشکُر لِلَّهِ وَمَن یَشکُر فَاِنَّمَا یَشکُرُ لِنَفسِهِ وَمَن کَفَرَ فَاِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِیٌّ حَمِیدٞ

Walaqad atayna luqmana alhikmata ani oshkur lillahi waman yashkur fainnama yashkuru linafsihi waman kafara fainna Allaha ghaniyyun hameedun

And We had certainly given Luqman wisdom [and said], "Be grateful to Allah." And whoever is grateful is grateful for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever denies [His favor] - then indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy

وَاِذ قَالَ لُقمَنُ لِابنِهِ وَهُوَ یَعِظُهُ یَبُنَیَّ لَا تُشرِک بِاللَّهِ اِنَّ الشِّرکَ لَظُلمٌ عَظِیمٞ

Waith qala luqmanu liibnihi wahuwa yaAAithuhu ya bunayya la tushrik biAllahi inna alshshirka lathulmun AAatheemun

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Luqman said to his son while he was instructing him, "O my son, do not associate [anything] with Allah. Indeed, association [with him] is great injustice

وَوَصَّینَا الاِنسَنَ بِوَلِدَیهِ حَمَلَتهُ اُمُّهُ وَهنًا عَلَی وَهن وَفِصَلُهُ فِی عَامَینِ اَنِ اشکُر لِی وَلِوَلِدَیکَ اِلَیَّ المَصِیرُ

Wawassayna alinsana biwalidayhi hamalathu ommuhu wahnan AAala wahnin wafisaluhu fee AAamayni ani oshkur lee waliwalidayka ilayya almaseeru

And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination

وَاِن جَهَدَاکَ عَلَیٓ اَن تُشرِکَ بِی مَا لَیسَ لَکَ بِهِ عِلمٞ فَلَا تُطِعهُمَا وَصَاحِبهُمَا فِی الدُّنیَا مَعرُوفا وَاتَّبِع سَبِیلَ مَن اَنَابَ اِلَیَّ ثُمَّ اِلَیَّ مَرجِعُکُم فَاُنَبِّئُکُم بِمَا کُنتُم تَعمَلُونَ

Wain jahadaka AAala an tushrika bee ma laysa laka bihi AAilmun fala tutiAAhuma wasahibhuma fee alddunya maAAroofan waittabiAA sabeela man anaba ilayya thumma ilayya marjiAAukum faonabbiokum bima kuntum taAAmaloona

But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness and follow the way of those who turn back to Me [in repentance]. Then to Me will be your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do

یَبُنَیَّ اِنَّهَآ اِن تَکُ مِثقَالَ حَبَّۃ مِّن خَردَل فَتَکُن فِی صَخرَۃٍ اَو فِی السَّمَوَتِ اَو فِی الاَرضِ یَاتِ بِهَا اللَّهُ اِنَّ اللَّهَ لَطِیفٌ خَبِیرٞ

Ya bunayya innaha in taku mithqala habbatin min khardalin fatakun fee sakhratin aw fee alssamawati aw fee alardi yati biha Allahu inna Allaha lateefun khabeerun

[And Luqman said], "O my son, indeed if wrong should be the weight of a mustard seed and should be within a rock or [anywhere] in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Indeed, Allah is Subtle and Acquainted

یَبُنَیَّ اَقِمِ الصَّلَوۃَ وَامُر بِالمَعرُوفِ وَانهَ عَنِ المُنکَرِ وَاصبِر عَلَی مَآ اَصَابَکَ اِنَّ ذَلِکَ مِن عَزمِ الاُمُورِ

Ya bunayya aqimi alssalata wamur bialmaAAroofi wainha AAani almunkari waisbir AAala ma asabaka inna thalika min AAazmi alomoori

O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination

وَلَا تُصَعِّر خَدَّکَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمشِ فِی الاَرضِ مَرَحًا اِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا یُحِبُّ کُلَّ مُختَال فَخُور

Wala tusaAAAAir khaddaka lilnnasi wala tamshi fee alardi marahan inna Allaha la yuhibbu kulla mukhtalin fakhoorin

And do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful

وَاقصِد فِی مَشیِکَ وَاغضُض مِن صَوتِکَ اِنَّ اَنکَرَ الاَصوَتِ لَصَوتُ الحَمِیرِ

Waiqsid fee mashyika waoghdud min sawtika inna ankara alaswati lasawtu alhameeri

And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys

اَلَم تَرَواْ اَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَکُم مَّا فِی السَّمَوَتِ وَمَا فِی الاَرضِ وَاَسبَغَ عَلَیکُم نِعَمَهُ ظَهِرَۃ وَبَاطِنَۃ وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن یُجَدِلُ فِی اللَّهِ بِغَیرِ عِلم وَلَا هُدی وَلَا کِتَب مُّنِیر

Alam taraw anna Allaha sakhkhara lakum ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi waasbagha AAalaykum niAAamahu thahiratan wabatinatan wamina alnnasi man yujadilu fee Allahi bighayri AAilmin wala hudan wala kitabin muneerin

Do you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him]

وَاِذَا قِیلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُواْ مَآ اَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُواْ بَل نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدنَا عَلَیهِ ءَابَآءَنَآ اَوَلَو کَانَ الشَّیطَنُ یَدعُوهُم اِلَی عَذَابِ السَّعِیرِ

Waitha qeela lahumu ittabiAAoo ma anzala Allahu qaloo bal nattabiAAu ma wajadna AAalayhi abaana awalaw kana alshshaytanu yadAAoohum ila AAathabi alssaAAeeri

And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze

وَمَن یُسلِم وَجهَهُٓ اِلَی اللَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحسِنٞ فَقَدِ استَمسَکَ بِالعُروَۃِ الوُثقَی وَاِلَی اللَّهِ عَقِبَۃُ الاُمُورِ

Waman yuslim wajhahu ila Allahi wahuwa muhsinun faqadi istamsaka bialAAurwati alwuthqa waila Allahi AAaqibatu alomoori

And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters

وَمَن کَفَرَ فَلَا یَحزُنکَ کُفرُهُٓ اِلَینَا مَرجِعُهُم فَنُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوٓاْ اِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِیمُ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

Waman kafara fala yahzunka kufruhu ilayna marjiAAuhum fanunabbiohum bima AAamiloo inna Allaha AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

And whoever has disbelieved - let not his disbelief grieve you. To Us is their return, and We will inform them of what they did. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts

نُمَتِّعُهُم قَلِیلا ثُمَّ نَضطَرُّهُم اِلَی عَذَابٍ غَلِیظ

NumattiAAuhum qaleelan thumma nadtarruhum ila AAathabin ghaleethin

We grant them enjoyment for a little; then We will force them to a massive punishment

وَلَئِن سَاَلتَهُم مَّن خَلَقَ السَّمَوَتِ وَالاَرضَ لَیَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ قُلِ الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ بَل اَکثَرُهُم لَا یَعلَمُونَ

Walain saaltahum man khalaqa alssamawati waalarda layaqoolunna Allahu quli alhamdu lillahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona

And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "[All] praise is [due] to Allah "; but most of them do not know

لِلَّهِ مَا فِی السَّمَوَتِ وَالاَرضِ اِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الغَنِیُّ الحَمِیدُ

Lillahi ma fee alssamawati waalardi inna Allaha huwa alghaniyyu alhameedu

To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. Indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy

وَلَو اَنَّمَا فِی الاَرضِ مِن شَجَرَۃٍ اَقلَمٞ وَالبَحرُ یَمُدُّهُ مِن بَعدِهِ سَبعَۃُ اَبحُر مَّا نَفِدَت کَلِمَتُ اللَّهِ اِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِیزٌ حَکِیمٞ

Walaw annama fee alardi min shajaratin aqlamun waalbahru yamudduhu min baAAdihi sabAAatu abhurin ma nafidat kalimatu Allahi inna Allaha AAazeezun hakeemun

And if whatever trees upon the earth were pens and the sea [was ink], replenished thereafter by seven [more] seas, the words of Allah would not be exhausted. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise

مَّا خَلقُکُم وَلَا بَعثُکُم اِلَّا کَنَفس وَحِدَۃٍ اِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِیعُ بَصِیرٌ

Ma khalqukum wala baAAthukum illa kanafsin wahidatin inna Allaha sameeAAun baseerun

Your creation and your resurrection will not be but as that of a single soul. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing

اَلَم تَرَ اَنَّ اللَّهَ یُولِجُ الَّیلَ فِی النَّهَارِ وَیُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِی الَّیلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمسَ وَالقَمَرَ کُلّٞ یَجرِیٓ اِلَیٓ اَجَل مُّسَمّی وَاَنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا تَعمَلُونَ خَبِیرٞ

Alam tara anna Allaha yooliju allayla fee alnnahari wayooliju alnnahara fee allayli wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara kullun yajree ila ajalin musamman waanna Allaha bima taAAmaloona khabeerun

Do you not see that Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allah, with whatever you do, is Acquainted

ذَلِکَ بِاَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الحَقُّ وَاَنَّ مَا یَدعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ البَطِلُ وَاَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ العَلِیُّ الکَبِیرُ

Thalika bianna Allaha huwa alhaqqu waanna ma yadAAoona min doonihi albatilu waanna Allaha huwa alAAaliyyu alkabeeru

That is because Allah is the Truth, and that what they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand

اَلَم تَرَ اَنَّ الفُلکَ تَجرِی فِی البَحرِ بِنِعمَتِ اللَّهِ لِیُرِیَکُم مِّن ءَایَتِهِٓ اِنَّ فِی ذَلِکَ لَآیَت لِّکُلِّ صَبَّار شَکُور

Alam tara anna alfulka tajree fee albahri biniAAmati Allahi liyuriyakum min ayatihi inna fee thalika laayatin likulli sabbarin shakoorin

Do you not see that ships sail through the sea by the favor of Allah that He may show you of His signs? Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful

وَاِذَا غَشِیَهُم مَّوجٞ کَالظُّلَلِ دَعَوُاْ اللَّهَ مُخلِصِینَ لَهُ الدِّینَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّیهُم اِلَی البَرِّ فَمِنهُم مُّقتَصِدٞ وَمَا یَجحَدُ بَِٔایَتِنَآ اِلَّا کُلُّ خَتَّار کَفُور

Waitha ghashiyahum mawjun kaalththulali daAAawoo Allaha mukhliseena lahu alddeena falamma najjahum ila albarri faminhum muqtasidun wama yajhadu biayatina illa kullu khattarin kafoorin

And when waves come over them like canopies, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion. But when He delivers them to the land, there are [some] of them who are moderate [in faith]. And none rejects Our signs except everyone treacherous and ungrateful

یَٓاَیُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُواْ رَبَّکُم وَاخشَواْ یَوما لَّا یَجزِی وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِ وَلَا مَولُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِ شَیًٔا اِنَّ وَعدَ اللَّهِ حَقّٞ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّکُمُ الحَیَوۃُ الدُّنیَا وَلَا یَغُرَّنَّکُم بِاللَّهِ الغَرُورُ

Ya ayyuha alnnasu ittaqoo rabbakum waikhshaw yawman la yajzee walidun AAan waladihi wala mawloodun huwa jazin AAan walidihi shayan inna waAAda Allahi haqqun fala taghurrannakumu alhayatu alddunya wala yaghurrannakum biAllahi algharooru

O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver

اِنَّ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ عِلمُ السَّاعَۃِ وَیُنَزِّلُ الغَیثَ وَیَعلَمُ مَا فِی الاَرحَامِ وَمَا تَدرِی نَفسٞ مَّاذَا تَکسِبُ غَدا وَمَا تَدرِی نَفسُ بِاَیِّ اَرض تَمُوتُ اِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِیمٌ خَبِیرُ

Inna Allaha AAindahu AAilmu alssaAAati wayunazzilu alghaytha wayaAAlamu ma fee alarhami wama tadree nafsun matha taksibu ghadan wama tadree nafsun biayyi ardin tamootu inna Allaha AAaleemun khabeerun

Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted
