55 : 1

الرَّحمَنُ

Alrrahmanu

The Most Merciful

55 : 2

عَلَّمَ القُرءَانَ

AAallama alqurana

Taught the Qur'an

55 : 3

خَلَقَ الاِنسَنَ

Khalaqa alinsana

Created man

55 : 4

عَلَّمَهُ البَیَانَ

AAallamahu albayana

[And] taught him eloquence

55 : 5

الشَّمسُ وَالقَمَرُ بِحُسبَان

Alshshamsu waalqamaru bihusbanin

The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation

55 : 6

وَالنَّجمُ وَالشَّجَرُ یَسجُدَانِ

Waalnnajmu waalshshajaru yasjudani

And the stars and trees prostrate

55 : 7

وَالسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ المِیزَانَ

Waalssamaa rafaAAaha wawadaAAa almeezana

And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance

55 : 8

اَلَّا تَطغَواْ فِی المِیزَانِ

Alla tatghaw fee almeezani

That you not transgress within the balance

55 : 9

وَاَقِیمُواْ الوَزنَ بِالقِسطِ وَلَا تُخسِرُواْ المِیزَانَ

Waaqeemoo alwazna bialqisti wala tukhsiroo almeezana

And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance

55 : 10

وَالاَرضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلاَنَامِ

Waalarda wadaAAaha lilanami

And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures

55 : 11

فِیهَا فَکِهَۃٞ وَالنَّخلُ ذَاتُ الاَکمَامِ

Feeha fakihatun waalnnakhlu thatu alakmami

Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]

55 : 12

وَالحَبُّ ذُو العَصفِ وَالرَّیحَانُ

Waalhabbu thoo alAAasfi waalrrayhani

And grain having husks and scented plants

55 : 13

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 14

خَلَقَ الاِنسَنَ مِن صَلصَل کَالفَخَّارِ

Khalaqa alinsana min salsalin kaalfakhkhari

He created man from clay like [that of] pottery

55 : 15

وَخَلَقَ الجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِج مِّن نَّار

Wakhalaqa aljanna min marijin min narin

And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire

55 : 16

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 17

رَبُّ المَشرِقَینِ وَرَبُّ المَغرِبَینِ

Rabbu almashriqayni warabbu almaghribayni

[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets

55 : 18

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 19

مَرَجَ البَحرَینِ یَلتَقِیَانِ

Maraja albahrayni yaltaqiyani

He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]

55 : 20

بَینَهُمَا بَرزَخٞ لَّا یَبغِیَانِ

Baynahuma barzakhun la yabghiyani

Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses

55 : 21

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 22

یَخرُجُ مِنهُمَا اللُّؤلُؤُ وَالمَرجَانُ

Yakhruju minhuma alluluo waalmarjanu

From both of them emerge pearl and coral

55 : 23

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 24

وَلَهُ الجَوَارِ المُنشََٔاتُ فِی البَحرِ کَالاَعلَمِ

Walahu aljawari almunshaatu fee albahri kaalaAAlami

And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains

55 : 25

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 26

کُلُّ مَن عَلَیهَا فَان

Kullu man AAalayha fanin

Everyone upon the earth will perish

55 : 27

وَیَبقَی وَجهُ رَبِّکَ ذُو الجَلَلِ وَالاِکرَامِ

Wayabqa wajhu rabbika thoo aljalali waalikrami

And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor

55 : 28

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 29

یَسَٔلُهُ مَن فِی السَّمَوَتِ وَالاَرضِ کُلَّ یَومٍ هُوَ فِی شَان

Yasaluhu man fee alssamawati waalardi kulla yawmin huwa fee shanin

Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter

55 : 30

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 31

سَنَفرُغُ لَکُم اَیُّهَ الثَّقَلَانِ

Sanafrughu lakum ayyuha alththaqalani

We will attend to you, O prominent beings

55 : 32

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 33

یَمَعشَرَ الجِنِّ وَالاِنسِ اِنِ استَطَعتُم اَن تَنفُذُواْ مِن اَقطَارِ السَّمَوَتِ وَالاَرضِ فَانفُذُواْ لَا تَنفُذُونَ اِلَّا بِسُلطَن

Ya maAAshara aljinni waalinsi ini istataAAtum an tanfuthoo min aqtari alssamawati waalardi faonfuthoo la tanfuthoona illa bisultanin

O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]

55 : 34

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 35

یُرسَلُ عَلَیکُمَا شُوَاظٞ مِّن نَّار وَنُحَاسٞ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ

Yursalu AAalaykuma shuwathun min narin wanuhasun fala tantasirani

There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves

55 : 36

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 37

فَاِذَا انشَقَّتِ السَّمَآءُ فَکَانَت وَردَۃ کَالدِّهَانِ

Faitha inshaqqati alssamao fakanat wardatan kaalddihani

And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil

55 : 38

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 39

فَیَومَئِذ لَّا یُسَٔلُ عَن ذَنبِهِٓ اِنسٞ وَلَا جَآنّٞ

Fayawmaithin la yusalu AAan thanbihi insun wala jannun

Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn

55 : 40

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 41

یُعرَفُ المُجرِمُونَ بِسِیمَهُم فَیُؤخَذُ بِالنَّوَصِی وَالاَقدَامِ

YuAArafu almujrimoona biseemahum fayukhathu bialnnawasee waalaqdami

The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet

55 : 42

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 43

هَذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِی یُکَذِّبُ بِهَا المُجرِمُونَ

Hathihi jahannamu allatee yukaththibu biha almujrimoona

This is Hell, which the criminals deny

55 : 44

یَطُوفُونَ بَینَهَا وَبَینَ حَمِیمٍ ءَان

Yatoofoona baynaha wabayna hameemin anin

They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]

55 : 45

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 46

وَلِمَن خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ

Waliman khafa maqama rabbihi jannatani

But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens

55 : 47

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 48

ذَوَاتَآ اَفنَان

Thawata afnanin

Having [spreading] branches

55 : 49

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 50

فِیهِمَا عَینَانِ تَجرِیَانِ

Feehima AAaynani tajriyani

In both of them are two springs, flowing

55 : 51

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 52

فِیهِمَا مِن کُلِّ فَکِهَۃ زَوجَانِ

Feehima min kulli fakihatin zawjani

In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds

55 : 53

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 54

مُتَّکِِٔینَ عَلَی فُرُشِ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِن اِستَبرَق وَجَنَی الجَنَّتَینِ دَان

Muttakieena AAala furushin batainuha min istabraqin wajana aljannatayni danin

[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low

55 : 55

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 56

فِیهِنَّ قَصِرَتُ الطَّرفِ لَم یَطمِثهُنَّ اِنسٞ قَبلَهُم وَلَا جَآنّٞ

Feehinna qasiratu alttarfi lam yatmithhunna insun qablahum wala jannun

In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni

55 : 57

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 58

کَاَنَّهُنَّ الیَاقُوتُ وَالمَرجَانُ

Kaannahunna alyaqootu waalmarjanu

As if they were rubies and coral

55 : 59

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 60

هَل جَزَآءُ الاِحسَنِ اِلَّا الاِحسَنُ

Hal jazao alihsani illa alihsanu

Is the reward for good [anything] but good

55 : 61

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 62

وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ

Wamin doonihima jannatani

And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens

55 : 63

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 64

مُدهَآمَّتَانِ

Mudhammatani

Dark green [in color]

55 : 65

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 66

فِیهِمَا عَینَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ

Feehima AAaynani naddakhatani

In both of them are two springs, spouting

55 : 67

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 68

فِیهِمَا فَکِهَۃٞ وَنَخلٞ وَرُمَّانٞ

Feehima fakihatun wanakhlun warummanun

In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates

55 : 69

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 70

فِیهِنَّ خَیرَتٌ حِسَانٞ

Feehinna khayratun hisanun

In them are good and beautiful women

55 : 71

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 72

حُورٞ مَّقصُورَتٞ فِی الخِیَامِ

Hoorun maqsooratun fee alkhiyami

Fair ones reserved in pavilions

55 : 73

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 74

لَم یَطمِثهُنَّ اِنسٞ قَبلَهُم وَلَا جَآنّٞ

Lam yatmithhunna insun qablahum wala jannun

Untouched before them by man or jinni

55 : 75

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 76

مُتَّکِِٔینَ عَلَی رَفرَفٍ خُضر وَعَبقَرِیٍّ حِسَان

Muttakieena AAala rafrafin khudrin waAAabqariyyin hisanin

Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets

55 : 77

فَبِاَیِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّکُمَا تُکَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

55 : 78

تَبَرَکَ اسمُ رَبِّکَ ذِی الجَلَلِ وَالاِکرَامِ

Tabaraka ismu rabbika thee aljalali waalikrami

Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor
